LAKEHEAD ARCHERS WINTER LEAGUE 2015
WIND-UP PARTY
Winter League wind-up will happen next Saturday night May 9, after the Rubber Boot Shoot.
We will be having a a pot-luck dinner, awards and prizes.
ENTRY FEES
Adult Member $25.00 (includes target faces)
Adult Non-Member $120.00 (includes target faces and shoot fees)
Youth Members $15.00 (includes target faces)
Youth Non-Member $50.00 (includes target faces and shoot fees)

DIVISIONS
Adult Male and Adult Female
Adult Open – use of scopes or any kind of magnification
Adult Traditional – unsighted and no release aids
Junior 15-17 years of age
Cadet 12-14 years of age
Cub 11 yrs and under
Youth traditional 17 yrs and under – unsighted and no release aids

LEAGUE NIGHT
League night will be on Tuesday evenings from 7pm to 9 pm.
All archers will be encouraged to shoot on league night.
If shooting on League Night is not possible, shooting can be done on any open club night/day.

RULES
Each registrant will be provided with 12 signed/stamped target faces and score cards for the official winter league scoring (6 of each target face).
Archers must use the signed/stamped official target faces for each round and submit them with completed scorecards.
Each archer's top five scores from the Manny target faces and Fita target faces will count for the final standings.
Youth archers choosing to compete in any adult division must pay the adult entry fees.

TARGETS
Manny target faces – Blue and White
Targets faces will be either the five spot or single spot. Scoring will consist of 6 ends of 5 arrows for a total of 30 arrows.
Fita target faces – Multi Coloured
Targets will be the 40cm single face or the 3 spot face. Scoring will be 10 ends of 3 arrows for a total of 30 arrows.

SCORING
Scorecards must be completely filled out including the “X” count and the final total score. Archers must also sign their score card and target before they submit them.
*Archers not shooting on league night must also have a witness sign their scorecards and target faces.

DISTANCES
Adult, Junior and Cadet – 18 meters
Cub and Youth Traditional – 10 meters

AWARDS
A plaque with the names of the top three winners of each division will be posted at the club. Medals will be handed out for the non-adult divisions.
3 Entrants - 1st place
4 Entrants - 1st and 2nd place
5 Entrants – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place

Winter League wind-up with take place on May 9th after the rubber boot shoot, with Dinner & Awards.
The main purpose of winter league is to encourage year round shooting.
We would like the number of participants to grow over the years so please encourage new and veteran archers alike to join winter league.
